I fell in love with music when I was around 6-7 years old, with everything from Mase & Diddy, to Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins pumping inside of my tiny little head. Being so exposed to different to types of music at an early age – always watching MTV or listening to the radio with my Dad back in the day is (I think) one of the reasons why my taste in music is so…diverse. First love is hip-hop, soul and r&b – but I’m still down with indie, alternative, dance, electronica, pop, rock etc.

I hate it when people keep them selves tied down one specific genre of music, that’s just closeminded. And if you’re doing it because you have to maintain your so called “image” — that’s just dumb, sweetie.

There is a whole variety of good music out there. You just have to open your ears and listen.
