There probably is more, but to be honest - I don’t really remember. It’s been waaaaay too long. Anyway, I’ll try and keep up with Speakerboxx once in a while - not once or twice a year. I know I’m always saying that, but hey… Deal.

I’m not sure what I think about this layout. I was listening to De La Soul’s “Stakes Is High” album when I did it - hence the oldschool-ness of it. My creative streak has been out pretty much since the last time I updated the layout on Speakerboxx, so. It’s like I’d sit down and make something…and every single time, it was SHIT. Bleh. I hate when that happens.

Allright, I’m gonna leave and do chores/revise for my history test tomorrow. Peace out, beautiful people!

So, I got a new job. FINALLY!! No more Burger King, no more uniform, no more smelling like pickles after a hard days work. I’m so darn happy about it! I’d been applying for jobs forever and it’s finally paid off! I’m now employed at a womans clothing store in Lillestrøm (Lindex) 5 minutes from my school - which is great, cause I can just walk to work after school and I can come on short notice.

It’s so weird, because the interveiw was last week, right. And it lasted for like under 10 minutes and I was soooo sure I wasn’t getting the job AT all! And then she calls me the following Monday and I’m looking at the phone ringing like “Why the fuck is she calling me when I DIDN’T get the job?!” lol. But I was soooooo happy when she called, I even ASKED her if she was pulling my leg, lol. First day was on Friday, and it went surprisingly well. I definitely have nothing to complain about! Worked yesterday too, and I’m working again on Monday. Ahhhh, I can’t wait to hand in my resignation @ Burger King on Monday! Haha

I’ve been so busy this week, it’s not even funny. Wednesday and Thursday, me and Kristina were volunteers at this music festival in Oslo - we worked in the bar with a bunch of other kids. Was really fun! Plus I hadn’t seen Kristina ALL summer, so it was nice to see her again. Course, we didn’t get paid or anything, but it was worth it! If I’m not doing anything next year, I’m definitely going to do it again! Downer that Amy Winehouse canceled on me on Wednesday, cause I was really looking forward to seeing her live… Lily Allen canceled as well… Got to see JUSTICE, though! MAN, they’re awesome live! I’m buying their album ‘Cross’ for sure! Really, really enjoyed it. LOVE ‘D.A.N.C.E.’! And the video rawks. . Definitely worth checking out. Electronica/dance fusion music at it’s best.

Then on Friday and Saturday I had to work, meaning getting up REAL early. Bah. But I’m not complaining! Everything is cool.

Hate to love you and leave you, but…

I finished ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ yesterday! It was so great, the ending couldn’t be better! So sad it’s the last book, I want more! At least, at the very end of the book, you get a little peak into what Harry’s life is like in his adult life. I really enjoyed that, it was so cute!

Can’t believe Potter was the last horcrux, though - that just totally blew me off when I figured it out. Plus I was so fucking sure that he had DIED. I swear to God, I could cry lol. Anyway, I won’t ramble on about the content of the book - if you’ve read it, you’ll know what I mean by it was an AMAZING read. For those who haven’t read it yet: get your asses in gear - it fucking owns anything you’ve ever read in your life!

Nope, I didn’t die. And this site isn’t dead as of now either. I’m baaack, bitches! Finally, my inner creativity is back and I came up with a reasonable looking layout, featuring the beautiful Rihanna. Anybody else think she looks REAL good now-a-days? Ah, if only I was a lesbiana… And the CSS is hotttttttttttt, if I may say so my damn self.

NEway.. Loads have been going on since I last blogged (duh, it’s been months), so I really wouldn’t know where the heck to start. For one, I’m of legal age - YAY! Meh, isn’t all that great..lol. Like buying cigarettes for people, though. Haha. Ahem.. (Don’t tell ‘em I do that). Apart from being able to get into places I couldn’t before and buying beverages containing up to 21% alcohol - nothing much has changed, really. I still feel like a brat, running around doing mischeif. *sigh*

SO, WHO’S GOT HARRY POTTERED LATELY???!?! Lmao, I bought ‘…The Deathly Hallows’ on Saturday. Yes, the day it came out (I’m a nerd like that, hah). It’s real good, though. I’m totally hooked, read everyday now, haha. Some people are complete nutters, though. It was on the NEWS Saturday and I saw 1 billion kids (and adults) queued outside bookstores around the world at midnight, Saturday. Screaming and making so much noise..haha. And there was this one idiot that opened the book at the middle, read bit and SCREAMED with joy, like she found out who died or something.. What a bitch.

So yeah, I’m on summerbreak - forgot to mention it. Been off since June 21st, only a month ’til school starts now.. UGH!!! So far this summer I haven’t really done anything GREAT. Or, June 28th me, Roxanna and Marita traveled down south to this musicfestival (Hovefestivalen) to see Venom, Akala (Ms. Dynamite’s little brother, who is SICK btw), Papoose, Chamillionaire and the great LUDACRIS! It was so much fun, we met the coolest people there too. The atmosphere was just so nice, haven’t had that much fun in a loooong, long time. Definitely the best day so far this summer - probably going be the best day EVER this year. Had a blast! Plus Ludacris pointed at me (hold kjeft, Roxanna ), when he did ‘Pimpin All Over The World’. You know, when he goes ‘HEY GIRL, HOW YOU DOIN’?’ at the beginning of the song? THAT’S when he pointed at yours truly. I was so pleased, haha.
Other than that, I’ve just been out with friends, hanging out, watching tv… Just living the life, enjoying my break while it lasts! Matter of fact, think I’m gonna go do that riiiight about now. Catch y’all later, suckers!

I am so fed up with all this spam!! :angry: I get like 20 spam comments everyday on this site. Just now I had to delete almost 600 of them! Jesus Christ, man. It’s impossible to weed out the actual comments that are for ME and Speakerboxx. Not that I get a lot of them, but.. Hehe.

Aaaanyway.. Easter holiday’s over, went back to school on Tuesday. It’s been alright so far, I guess. We’re getting a lot of assignments all at once now, though. I hate that. We got back our grades from the Tv project we did for 8 weeks before Easter break. I ain’t really happy about them, but I honestly don’t think I deserved any better, so. It’s all gravy. I still have several chances to improve myself, so.. I’ve been nerding all day, lol. I’ve madw an album cover (we’re supposed to make 3 in total - I’ve done two already!). I’m doing the last one later tonight, I think. Or after work tomorrow. It came out pretty awesome, though - I must say. I’m really happy with it. It’s for the Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen. I cut out letters from various newspapers, glued them to paper an scanned them and things. I’m proud of myself for going through the hassle of doing it.. Haha.
Also did a web assignment, which was pretty easy so it didn’t take me long to do it. Still have to revise for my English “mock” exam for Tuesday. Urgh. I think I’ll read a few chapters after I’m done here.

Plans for the weekend? Hm, none really. Might go to some part on Saturday - should be FUN! Apart from that, I’m working Saturday AND Sunday. Meh, shouldn’t complain: I ain’t exactly swimming in a green sea of $100 bills..

Wow, that was a quick update..lol. Haven’t updated this frequent in a while.

Saw this thing og Scott’s site, and I thought I’d be a copy cat and do it myself. His is the “iPod Shuffle”, but I’ll call mine the “iTunes Shuffle.” Now, I can’t cheat so here are ten TOTALLY random songs off my iTunes:

So, I went to Scotland. Me and roughly 30 other kids. We left on Saturday, came home on Thursday and got Friday off. During that period of time I managed to:

• Visit two colleges: Napiar University and Glasgow School of Arts
• Spend 5000 kroner on clothes, food etc.
• Watch people eat HAGGIS (pig insides, yummmmmy)
• Ruin my mom’s camera
• Become even mo re confused about what I’m going to do with my life
• HAVE LOADS OF FUN!!!

We stayed in Edinburgh, which hands down one of the nicest places I’ve been. It’s just so…nice, you know? The people are awesome and polite. I love, love, love it there! Everything from the people to the architechture is fantastic. I’m thinking about studying there in the future, actually. So.. We’ll see how that goes. On Monday we traveled to Glasgow (1 hour by train) and visited Glasgow School of Arts. Except from being really stuffy, it was a pretty cool school. I really liked it. What sucked about Glasgow was that the shops close at 6pm. SIX-PEE-EM!! That’s waaaaay too early and I didn’t get to shop anything but a pair of jeans (that are AWESOME btw).

I shopped A LOT. A little too much, I might say.. I bought two pairs of shoes (1 pair of black and white leather chucks and 1 pair of blue and gray Nike Air Max’), a pair of jeans, 4 sweaters, 1 cardigan and some other small stuff.. All and all I really, really enjoyed myself and it honestly couldn’t have been better!

Right now I’m sick and tired of my job at Burger King. I hardly get any hours and that sucks. My boss is nice, but he’s so fucking greedy. I could’ve gotten a job at this record store downtown, but the interview (written test) was the same day I came back from Scotland so I missed it. WHOOPIE!

Apart from my job woes, I’m doing fine. I’ve decided to blog more, for one.. Haha. We’ll see how that goes. Plus I’ve been watching a lot og Grey’s, AMERICAN IDOL and 24. American Idol is really pissing me off now. Sanjayanhiogwshoiwehgoiwe or whatever his name is should’ve been voted out 2 years ago (ehm..)! I hate Howard Stern and I hate the good ol’ folks at www.votefortheworst.com. They’re shitting on the whole compettition! Argh. Oh, btw: I’ve signed up for Idol here in Norway. LMAO. I can’t wait.

Guess who decided to pop by! Yes, it is I… Haha. I never update anymore, man. How long has it been? Days? Months? Years? Decades? Centuries?? Meh, whatever. But I’m here now, with an ode to the greates television show in TV history. Yes, you guessed it; Grey’s Anatomy! The season finale was torture, omg. I swear my heart cried for hours after watching that. I really, really hate Izzie for doing what she did to Denny. Jesus. She’s insane. But I guess love makes you do crazy things..?

Anyway, back to me: I’m doing alright. I’ll start out with giving a shoutout to Tine and Kristina for turning 18 (a month ago LOL)! Congrats, bastards. And Kristina got her drivers linscene, yay! Shoutouts to Kevin and Jim too, who’s brithdays are coming up. Dunno if my lazy ass is blogging before that time comes, so.. Happy birthday, beautiful people!

School’s taking it’s tole; loooads to do! Even so, I’m still chillin’ like I’m top billin’, haha. Oh yeah; we’re going to Scotland!! Both A & B - can’t waaiiiit! It’s going to be so much fun. At first I was sure Scotland was like a HUGE farm or sometihng, but I did som research and my God.. There’s loads to do, loads of places to see. I’m going to shop ’til I drop! I’ve already found the adresses of some cool stores there on the Internet, so I’m pshyced!

Anyway. School is finished for the year, and man does it feel good! It’s soon 3 PM and I’m still in my pyjamas. Ahhh, the laziness to come! As you may know, Norwegians celebrate Christmas on the 24th, so today’s the big dinner. Or, actually; tomorrow is, cause we’re having people over then. But whatever… I don’t really celebrate Christmas at all, I’m not a big fan of it. I mean, thank God (litterally?) for the time off, but other than that.. It’s overrated. Meh, we don’t have a tree, decorations.. Nothing. For my part, I could go all year and not even think twice about Christmas. But the presents…lol. I’m getting a new phone! It’s super pretty, you can check it out here. Mmmm, evening red. <3 I actually got it a couple days ago, but it shit itself and has to be sendt back on Wednesday, so hopefully I'll get it then! Apart from the phone, I'm waiting for presents from my Dad and my mum - who currently is in Jamaica. Yup, she left Thursday morning: I even went to the airport to bid her farewell! Her plane left (or was supposed to leave) at 7:50 am so we had to leave at 5 am. So basically I had to get ut at 3:45 am and go to school after, lol. I know, I’m an awesome kid.

Ah, so my plans for the holiday are: sleep and bake and clean up shit. Tomorrow I’m baking two cakes, yay! Hehe. I’ve already plannet what I’m going to bake and on what day.. It’s in my calendar, haha. Oh, right; I went bazooka on Threadless again and got two hoodies: Camoflage and Get Some Fresh Air. I lubs them.
