music Rihanna - Push Up On Me

So, I got a new job. FINALLY!!   No more Burger King, no more uniform, no more smelling like pickles after a hard days work. I’m so darn happy about it! I’d been applying for jobs forever and it’s finally paid off! I’m now employed at a womans clothing store in Lillestrøm (Lindex) 5 minutes from my school - which is great, cause I can just walk to work after school and I can come on short notice.

It’s so weird, because the interveiw was last week, right. And it lasted for like under 10 minutes and I was soooo sure I wasn’t getting the job AT all! And then she calls me the following Monday and I’m looking at the phone ringing like “Why the fuck is she calling me when I DIDN’T get the job?!” lol. But I was soooooo happy when she called, I even ASKED her if she was pulling my leg, lol. First day was on Friday, and it went surprisingly well. I definitely have nothing to complain about! Worked yesterday too, and I’m working again on Monday. Ahhhh, I can’t wait to hand in my resignation @ Burger King on Monday! Haha cheer

I’ve been so busy this week, it’s not even funny. Wednesday and Thursday, me and Kristina were volunteers at this music festival in Oslo - we worked in the bar with a bunch of other kids. Was really fun! Plus I hadn’t seen Kristina ALL summer, so it was nice to see her again. Course, we didn’t get paid or anything, but it was worth it! If I’m not doing anything next year, I’m definitely going to do it again! Downer that Amy Winehouse canceled on me on Wednesday, cause I was really looking forward to seeing her live… Lily Allen canceled as well… Got to see JUSTICE, though! MAN, they’re awesome live! I’m buying their album ‘Cross’ for sure! Really, really enjoyed it. LOVE ‘D.A.N.C.E.’! And the video rawks. cool. Definitely worth checking out. Electronica/dance fusion music at it’s best.

Then on Friday and Saturday I had to work, meaning getting up REAL early. Bah. But I’m not complaining! Everything is cool.

Hate to love you and leave you, but…

music John Legend - I Can Change (Feat. Snoop Dogg)

Wow, that was a quick update..lol. Haven’t updated this frequent in a while.

Saw this thing og Scott’s site, and I thought I’d be a copy cat and do it myself. His is the “iPod Shuffle”, but I’ll call mine the “iTunes Shuffle.” Now, I can’t cheat so here are ten TOTALLY random songs off my iTunes:

  • The Strokes - Red Light
  • Bloc Party - Plans
  • The White Stripes - Well, It’s True That We Love One Another
  • Joss Stone - Super Duper Love (Are You Diggin’ On Me?)
  • Alicia Keys - Nobody Not Really
  • Alicia Keys - Slow Down
  • Musiq - Solong
  • Scott McKenzie - San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair)
  • Nas - Pussy Kills
  • Alicia Keys - Jane Doe

..nothing too embarrasing..lol.

music Lupe Fiasco - He Say, She Say (Feat. Sarah Green & Gemini)

Title: Genius name of a fantastic song by Thomas Dybdahl.

Anybody catch the MTV Europe Music Awards a few days ago? Man, it was the shit! I swear, when Justin Timberlake came on stage and sang THREE songs from ‘FutureSex…’ I almost cried lol. He’s like the light in the dark of my world, omfg. I must sound like the worst teeniebopper ever, but man.. I can’t help it, he just drives me crazy lol. Anyway, the show was really good. Borat was there; I lurve him! Haha, cracks me up with his “WHA WHA WEE WHA!” Haha. Rihanna blowed chunks live, and so did the infamous Diddy. Alright, I mean..at least sang her tired song live and sounded like something that came out of a monkeys arse, but Diddy didn’t even RAP live. One thing to have ghostwriters write your weekest selling album to date, but lipsynching? Is he the Ashlee Simpson of the rap game? Haha, I wonder… Muse was awesome on stage. Not only do they play like Greek gods, they had this amazing lazershow! Wow. Talk about eyecandy. The Killers were great as always, Pharrell was cute as HELL… Nelly Furtado was kind of boring, but she didn’t suck comepletely. It was just…boring. Justin was the best host, though. I think he’s so funny!

Work is going good, I’ve been working weekends lately. This week I’m working Friday, Saturday AND Sunday. :irritated: Good thing I don’t really have any major things planned for this weekend, sooo… Most of the staff are going on this trip in two weeks time, I’m hoping on going too. Up to this cabin somewhere. Should be nice to get to get to know people a little better.

Anyway. I’m off to do…something. Ciao!
